Hi! My name is Mauricio Tapia, and I’m a Chilean director of photography and colorist based in California’s Central Valley.
I lived and worked in Santiago, Chile, until 2017, where I shot music videos, short films, and commercials for a wide variety of clients. Along the way, I developed skills in post-production, working as a colourist for a Chilean-American production company in Santiago and Los Angeles for over seven years.
Now, I bring my experience to a range of projects, from documentaries and corporate videos to advertisements and short films. Whether collaborating with small teams or large crews, I’m passionate about telling compelling visual stories that connect with audiences.
